Reforms in working style and labor laws have increased complexity in managing employees’ time and attendance. HR departments are demanded flexible and sophisticated approach to accurately record employees’ time and attendance under flexible working system, discretionary working system, work from home system and employees engaging in side jobs yet complying with Agreement 36.
This seminar is designed to provide guidance on the fundamentals of time and attendance management, complex time and attendance rules brought by working style reforms, and effective utilization of time and attendance software to strengthen compliance levels. Case studies demonstrating practical challenges and solutions will also be introduced during the seminar.
The seminar will offer practical and strategic insights for companies reviewing their current time and attendance management, as well as for managers currently evaluating the implementation of a new system.

The foundation of time and attendance management lies in accurately tracking working hours and ensuring legal compliance. This involves objectively recording clock-in/out, breaks, paid leave, and overtime, and operating in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and the 36 Agreement. This session will cover various working hour systems, strategies for accommodating diversified work styles, and preparation for the 2026 Labor Standards Act revisions.
2. How to Select a Time and Attendance Management System (30 min)
When selecting a system, it is crucial to consider your operational style, company size, and specific compliance requirements. This segment will highlight key selection criteria and include a demonstration of an attendance management system.
